  • Screen Awards 2014 Govind Nihalani Chairperson, Director

    A multi-talented personality, Govind Nihalani is a director, cinematographer, screenwriter and producer of Hindi films and serials. He has been directing films since the late seventies. Having assisted legendary cinematographer V. K. Murthy, he was also associated with films made by Shyam Benegal and was the cameraman of Richard Attenborough's Oscar-winning epic 'Gandhi'. Nihalani is well-known for his socially-relevant films like 'Aakrosh, Ardh Satya, Hazaar Chaurasi Ki Maa, Drohkaal, Dev' and others. His last film 'Kamlu Happy Happy', a 3D animated feature film, is ready for release.

  • Screen Awards 2014 Atul Agnihotri Actor-Film-maker

    Atul Agnihotri started out as an actor with Mahesh Bhatt's 'Sir' in 1993 before taking up direction and production of films. Some of his notable films are 'Krantiveer, Aatish' and 'Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam'. He made his directorial debut in 2004 with 'Dil Ne Jise Apna Kahaa' starring Salman Khan and in 2011 he produced the blockbuster film 'Bodyguard'. His upcoming 'O Teri' starring Pulkit Samrat and Sarah Jane Dias is almost complete, and is slated for a release later in the year.

  • Screen Awards 2014 Homi Adajania Film-maker

    Homi Adajania was noticed for directing and co writing 'Being Cyrus' in 2005. This off-beat English psychological drama was considered to be the turning point for indie-film-makers. He is also one of India's highest level Scuba diving instructors. Homi's first Hindi film 'Cocktail' was a hit.
    Finding Fanny Fernandez', which he has written and directed, is a bilingual starring Deepika Padukone, Naseeruddin Shah and Arjun Kapoor. It is to release in mid-2014.

    John Mathew Matthan shot to fame with his Aamir Khan-Naseeruddin Shah-starrer 'Sarfarosh' in 1999. Earlier he began as an assistant director on Sir Richard Attenborough's 'Gandhi'. In 2005, he made 'Shikhar'. After 'A New Love Ishtory' that is complete and awaiting release, John will work on a political and historical thriller based on the Indian Navy.

    She began her career as a child bride in the 1967 Bengali film 'Balika Badhu'. Post her marriage to legendary singer late Hemanta Mukherjee's son Jayanta, she began her Bollywood movie career with 'Anuraag'. Moushumi worked with all the popular actors like Rajesh Khanna, Shashi Kapoor, Jeetendra, Sanjeev Kumar, Vinod Mehra and Amitabh Bachchan between 1973 to 1984. Some of her popular films 'Naina, Kuchhe Dhaage, Us Paar, Benaam, Roti Kapada Aur Makaan' and others. Her last release was the Bengali film 'Goynar Baksho'.

  • Screen Awards 2014 Prosenjit Actor-Film-maker

    Prosenjit has been an active actor of the Bengali film industry since the last 30 years. He first faced the camera as a four-year old kid in his father's production 'Chhoto Jiggasha'. Over the years, he has over 300 films and 50 leading ladies to his credit. He debuted as the hero in 'Duti Pata' when he was barely 16 and has a record of 22 releases, all blockbusters, in a single year, 2004. He turned director with 'Purushottam' and also produced short features and the TV serial 'Tritiya Purush'. He has done a few Hindi films as well, the last being 'Shanghai'. Some of his popular films are 'Autograph, Moner Manush, Swapner Din, Chokher Bali, Utsab, The Last Lear, Dosar' and 'Shob Charitra Kalponik'.

    National Award winning film-maker Rahul Dholakia is best known for his critically acclaimed film 'Parzania', that won him the National award for Best Director and Best Actress for Sarika. He is known for making issue-based films and tackling sensitive subjects. Dholakia's next is a film on prohibition in the state of Gujarat.

  • Screen Awards 2014 Sonali Kulkarni Actor

    Starting her career with Girish Karnad's Kannada film 'Cheluva', Sonali Kulkarni, a Marathi and Hindi film actor, has films like 'Doghi, Deool, Dil Chahta Hai, Singham', and 'Taxi No 9211', to her credit. Her repertoire also includes an Italian film 'Fuoco Su di Me' for which she won an award in the 2006 Milan International Film Festival. She was also the editor with Viva, a supplement of Indian Express' Marathi daily Loksatta. Sonali has won the Screen Award for the Marathi 'Devrai' in 2004. Her last release 'The Good Road' was selected as the Indian entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 86th Academy Awards, but it was not nominated.

  • Screen Awards 2014 Sriram Raghavan Filmmaker

    An FTII graduate, Sriram Raghavan's diploma film The Eighth Column Affair won a National Award for Best Short Fiction. His feature films include 'Ek Hasina Thi, Johny Gaddaar' and 'Agent Vinod'. He is currently working on a project for Illuminati Films and is adapting Vikas Swarup's The Accidental Apprentice for the screen.

  • Screen Awards 2014 Umesh Shukla Filmmaker

    'OMG! Oh My God', starring Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal, brought Umesh Shukla in to the limelight. Having made his directorial debut with 'Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge', Shukla is now working on his next film 'Mere Apne' with Abhishek Bachchan and Asin Thottumkal in the lead.

  • Screen Awards 2014 Kiran Shantaram Filmmaker

    Son of the legendary late V. Shantaram and actress Jayashree, Kiran Shantaram directed the Marathi film 'Zunz' in 1975. He was the Sheriff of Mumbai. A chairman of V. Shantaram foundation and head of Asian Film Foundation, he is also the chairman of Prabhat Chitra Mandal and the trustee of the Plaza cinema. He made his debut working as assistant director on his father's film 'Navrang'.

    Shreyas Talpade is a Marathi and Hindi film actor who actually began his acting career on television and stage It was Nagesh Kukunoor's 'Iqbal' that his performance was appreciated followed by 'Dor' where he played a man with many disguises. He produced a Marathi film, 'Sanai Chaughade'. Just recently he launched 'Poshter Boyj', a Marathi film under his home banner. Some of his popular Hindi films are 'Om Shanti Om, Bombay To Bangkok, Welcome to Sajjanpur, Golmaal Returns, Golmaal 3, Teen Thay Bhai' and 'Housefull 2'.

As a producer, he made films like 'Ardh Satya, Chakra, Hip Hip Hurray, Holi' and more. Shetty established Walkwater Media Ltd in 2007 that encompasses production of films, television, animation, other media as well as intellectual property exploitation.
